Help Us Do Something Magical Tonight
We’ve had a couple of crazy few weeks especially with the opening of our new adoption facility in Burnie. We want to help take it as many cats as we can. It’s what we do best. However, I’m reaching out to you as Easter fast approaches stressed.
Our vet bills are really high due to emergency care for injured and sick cats as well as medication and the normal vet bills. We know it’s tough out there so you have to believe us that right now we urgently need your help.
Bullet arrived as a stray cat - owner found but unable to afford his urgent surgery needs. We rushed to his side and took him immediately into our emergency vet for tail amputation. Of course, the after care costs are all up too.
Jack was also surrendered, a gorgeous young cat surrendered to us. However his teeth was in poor condition so also needed all his vet work done including emergency dental. These are just two of the cases we deal with on a daily (I probably should say hourly basis).
Rescue is tough, rescue is unrelenting. The emergency cases are unplanned and suck all our available funds out leaving us stressed for the every day vet bills when cats and kittens get surrendered to us.
Our team is under the pump. They will be standing by over the Easter break, ready to answer the emergency calls for help no matter the time of day or if they are celebrating with family or friends. They know we are launching this fundraiser tonight and to be honest, I want nothing else but to hit our goal to put a smile on their faces. They deserve it so much. "
